Mr. Garret is nationally recognized as one of the premiere experts in solar energy generation of electricity in the United States. Mr. Garrett is the Chief Executive Officer of ULG Engineering Inc., an Arizona corporation specializing in new product development, design and distribution of Renewable Energy Systems and line-tied power plants. Mr. Garrett’s expertise includes Electronics for the Photovoltaic (PV) and Lighting Industries, Energy Conservation Equipment, Custom PV, PV powered products. Mr. Garret, through his company, ULG Engineering, Inc., provides consulting in Renewable Energy and Sustainability for buildings and communities, Water Pumping Systems, Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Design.
Mr. Garrett’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel Institute of Technology, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1962; Graduate studies in Mathematics and Engineering at University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University in 1963-1965; a Masters of Science in Engineering with a business minor from Arizona State University in 1970; Numerous technical and marketing seminars and courses at Motorola Semiconductor Products Division and is a graduate of the Motorola Executive Institute through 1975. Mr. Garrett has a Certificate in Leadership at the doctoral level at University of Phoenix, 1998 and has qualified to teach 19 courses in the MBA and MBA in Technology Management Programs at the University of Phoenix. Mr. Garrett’s registrations include: Pennsylvania: P. E., Electrical Engineering, 1963 Arizona: 1966; No. 06326. P.E. Registration by exam, and he is a Certified Energy Manager (C.E.M.) 1983.
